Cookies associated with the use of Ecomail.app
Ecomail will be happy to help you comply with the information requirement. Please see below where and to what extent you should include Ecomail cookies in your list.
A. Cookies that we believe are subject to the obligation to obtain user consent
This is particularly relevant if you choose to use the Ecomail Tracker (also called tracking code, tracking script) on your website to track your contacts' movements around the site (purchases made, pages viewed, or custom events such as browsing a particular product or abandoning a cart).
The cookies that Ecomail uses within this tracker (and which you must therefore indicate in your list of cookies that the user of your website consents to the use of) are as follows:
|Stores information about the user that is created when the user first visits the site and updated on subsequent visits. It is used to identify users and track user activity within a domain. This cookie stores a unique identifier for each user, a unique identifier for the user's current session, the number of visits the user has made to the site, a timestamp of the user's first visit, a timestamp of the user's previous visit, and a timestamp of the user's current visit.
|It is used to identify whether the user is in an active session on the site or whether it is a new session for the user (i.e. the cookie does not exist or has expired).
|Stores a unique user identifier generated by the server-side collector that is sent with all subsequent tracking events. Can be used as a first-party cookie if the collector is in the same domain as the site.
If you choose not to use Ecomail Tracker or our forms, Ecomail does not use any cookies within your site.
B. Cookies that, in our opinion, are not subject to the obligation to obtain user consent
If you use forms created in Ecomail to collect new contacts, these cookies (which you must therefore include in your list of cookies that the user of your website consents to the use of) are used, which are also necessary for the correct functioning of the forms and are not used for marketing purposes:
|Form hash (5e98f8ef6dfe00cb568981584ec149e7) + the domain where the form is added ( news. domain. com) + ecwclosed
|The cookie is triggered when a form of type "Slider" is closed, so that the form is not shown to the visitor again.
|Form hash (5e98f8ef6dfe00cb568981584ec149e7) + domain where the form is added ( news. domain. com) + ecwshown
|The cookie is triggered when a "Pop-up" form is displayed, so that it is not shown to the visitor again when the form is closed.
|ecsession + form hash (5e98f8ef6dfe00cb568981584ec149e7)
|A "session" is set up in which the number of visits is tracked.
|ecvisits + form hash (5e98f8ef6dfe00cb568981584ec149e7)
|Collects information about the number of visits per session. This data is not used in any further way.
